1 Red Fort


The Red Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a stunning example of Mughal architecture. It served as the residence of Mughal Emperors for nearly 200 years. The fort's impressive walls enclose a number of fascinating structures and courtyards. To visit the Red Fort, you can take a metro to Chandni Chowk or Jama Masjid station and then take a cycle-rickshaw or a taxi to the fort. The fort is open from Tuesday to Sunday, and the entry fee is INR 35 for Indians and INR 500 for foreigners.


2 India Gate


India Gate is a towering archway and a popular spot for picnics and evening walks. It was built to honor Indian soldiers who lost their lives in World War I and the Afghan Wars.India Gate is located in the heart of the city and can be easily reached by metro or taxi. The best time to visit is in the evening when the monument is lit up. There is no entry fee to visit India Gate.


3 Qutub Minar


The Qutub Minar is a towering minaret made of red sandstone and marble and is one of Delhi's most famous landmarks. The tower is over 72 meters tall and adorned with intricate carvings and inscriptions.The Qutub Minar is located in the southern part of Delhi and can be reached by metro or taxi. The monument is open every day from sunrise to sunset, and the entry fee is INR 35 for Indians and INR 500 for foreigners.


4 Lotus Temple


A modern architectural masterpiece, the Lotus Temple is a temple of the Bahá'í faith and is shaped like a lotus flower. Its stunning white marble structure is surrounded by beautiful gardens and pools.The Lotus Temple is located in the southern part of Delhi and can be reached by metro or taxi. The temple is open every day except Monday, and there is no entry fee.


5 Humayun's Tomb


Humayun's Tomb is an impressive tomb built in the mid-16th century and the final resting place of the Mughal Emperor Humayun. Its architecture is a blend of Persian and Mughal styles and is a precursor to the Taj Mahal.To visit Humayun's Tomb, you can take a metro to JLN Stadium or take a taxi. The tomb is open every day from sunrise to sunset, and the entry fee is INR 35 for Indians and INR 500 for foreigners.


6 Akshardham Temple


The Akshardham Temple is a magnificent Hindu temple and an architectural marvel famous for its intricate carvings and beautiful gardens. It is one of the largest Hindu temples in the world and is a must-visit attraction in Delhi.The Akshardham Temple is located in the eastern part of Delhi and can be reached by metro or taxi. The temple is open every day except Monday, and the entry fee is INR 170 for adults and INR 100 for children


7 Jama Masjid


The Jama Masjid is the largest mosque in India, built in the mid-17th century, and an impressive example of Mughal architecture. The mosque's courtyard can accommodate up to 25,000 worshippers at a time. The Jama Masjid is located in the heart of Old Delhi and can be reached by metro or taxi. The mosque is open every day, and there is no entry fee. However, visitors must dress modestly and remove their shoes before entering the mosque.


8 Chandni Chowk market


Chandni Chowk is a bustling market in Old Delhi famous for its narrow lanes, crowded bazaars, and mouth-watering street food. It is a great place to shop for traditional Indian clothing and accessories. The market is open every day, and there is no entry fee.


9 National Museum


The National Museum is one of the largest museums in India and houses a vast collection of artifacts and exhibits related to Indian history and culture. It is a great place to learn about India's rich history and cultural heritage. The museum is open every day except Monday, and the entry fee is INR 20 for Indians and INR 650 for foreigners.
